STEIN INJECTION TECHNOLOGY GmbH has developed and commissioned a pneumatic injection system for slag volume reduction in a well-known steel plant in Brazil.

Moistured sand is injected into the slag pot and the volume reduced up to 20%. With the new injection system, the customer saved high investments for bigger slag pots and further improved the safety level of his staff and the operation.
